Bishop Jonathan Jackson is a powerful passionate preacher with his finger on the pulse of the move of the Holy Spirit who preaches with depth of biblical knowledge.
He is quoted to say “at heart I am a pastor teacher with a life long theme of liberation”  

Born in Stoke-on-Trent in 1969, the fourth child of six children; born to Isaiah and Eulaee Jackson.  In the Mid-Seventies the family moved to Bradford, where Jonathan committed his life to Jesus Christ.  He was baptised and received into the church by Bishop C.L.Scott in 1986 and immediately began ministry in youth ministry, vocation bible school and Sunday school. 

Bishop Jackson began his theological training in 1990 at the Ebenezer Bible Institute and in 1993, commenced his higher theological studies at Overstone Theological College under the guidance of Professor Clinton Ryan.  Revd Jackson worked tirelessly to obtain his Diploma in Ministry and Theology, Bachelor of Divinity, Licentiate in Theology and a Master's Degree in Ministerial Education.

In 1997 Bishop Jackson began to lecture at Overstone Theological College (later changed to European Theological Seminary) also supervising the extension school in Gloucester.
Presently he is a senior lecture with urban divinity ministries in Birmingham under the leadership of Professor Clinton Ryan.

He is married to Annette Vanessa they are blessed with an energetic and beautiful daughter - Eugenie Vanessa who is four years old. 

They spent five years pastoring in Trowbridge in the South West working hard to develop and empower the local church, ministering to both church and community. 

In November 2002 Bishop and Mrs Jackson assumed the pastorate at NTCG Brookfield, in 2004 Bishop Jackson moved the growing congregation into the new worship centre “The Rock” a regular attendance of over 300.

His preaching ministry has taken him across the nation and internationally ministering in Canada USA and India.

Bishop & Mrs Jackson are in their seventh year of pastoring at The Rock they are humbled that God has given them the privilege to lead such a great church. Bishop & Mrs Jackson have a great vision for the church to realise its kingdom purpose.  Bishop Jackson reflects on the scripture St John 17:17 we are sanctified by the word that word is truth freedom is found in the truth making you free.  The sanctifying power of the word in the life of the saints creates growth and empowers change “growth is change, change is necessary”.
